Pantone Pumps Are A Kick Of Color. Pumptone Universe by Christian Goldemann.

*Please note: this is not an officially licensed Pantone Product, nor is it available for sale

Continuing to exploit Pantone Colors is this dream project that gives high heels a hue. Pumptone is a concept that art director /graphic designer and illustrator Christian Goldemann of goldesign wishes to produce in cooperation with Pantone Universe and famed shoe designer Christian Louboutin. This collection is yet another imaginative effort combining Pantone colors with a product.

If it did come to light, I would sport a pair, that's for sure.

Pantone on Draught. The Ultimate Color Guide For Beer Lovers, Beertone, Is Now Available for Purchase.

Here's a Pantone-like color guide that is truly useful for Beer enthusiasts. A brilliant idea from Alexander Michelbach and Daniel Eugster of Switzerland, they have captured accurate colors and compiled a color matching system in booklet form, featuring 202 beers from Switzerland and relevant information about them.

The project was successfully funded via their own social media crowdfunding campaign and is now selling the Swiss edition Beertone color charts, which began shipping April 15th.

Below is an ad and a video they created to promote the Beertone concept via social media:

A Pantone Manicure. Colorful Pantone Chip Finger Nails Are A Handful of Fun.

above photo by @Harto

I realize that the amount of Pantone inspired products, projects and other color chip related items have reached almost comical proportions, but that doesn't stop them from being somewhat blog-worthy to the design crowd.

That said, here's a fun do-it-yourself Pantone Manicure by Jacquie Coe aka Jacquie Long Legs.

above: the numbers read backwards because this was photographed in the mirror

Using acrylic nails and photo-copied numbers on clear adhesive labels, Jacquie created a Pantone chip palette on the tips of her fingers.

Jacquie printed a Pantone chip number on clear self-adhesive label paper in her printer (that's why the nails all read the same -and incorrect- Pantone number 18-3943):
